McCleskey Attorney Will Griffis has joined the Shannon West Texas Memorial Hospital Community Board of Directors in San Angelo.
Griffis is based in McCleskey’s San Angelo office, which opened a year ago after Griffis and his family returned to the area where he grew up.
“It’s an honor for them to consider me to be on the board and be part of a hospital that means so much to our community and surrounding areas,” said Griffis.
Len Mertz, the board chairman, said Griffis was sought out.
“We view his talents as multi-faceted, along with his family’s history is the area with healthcare,” said Mertz.
Griffis’ grandfather was a pediatrician in the Concho Valley.
“It’s a good family,” said Mertz, adding Griffis’ talents will help the board.
