FMLA
Under the Family Medical Leave Act, employees are allowed up to 12 weeks of unpaid medical leave for themselves or to take care of a family member who has a serious medical condition.
This federal statute only applies to employers with 50 or more employees in a 75-mile radius. The McCleskey Law Firm assists businesses in drafting FMLA policies and advising and defending employers who are subject of an FMLA complaint.
